I've been a professional chef in Chicago since 1990. I've had the privilege to work for some of the finest venues in this great food city. I love my work and my industry. Sharks are born swimming... I'm a born learner. I'm always seeking new challenges and experiences. In 2014, I began teaching part-time and now it's my full-time occupation. Joliet Job Corps allows me the opportunity to help young adults begin their culinary careers. I started my own podcast in 2016 and this year it's really taking off! It's also where I showcase my custom-created cake projects and tutorials.The completion of my MBA was a difficult hurdle but I did it in order to better prepare myself for the challenges business ownership will bring me in the upcoming years. I'm looking to build a like-minded team to help develop my vision into concrete reality and lend our experience with this venture out for use of others who wish to live a food-life dream.I'm considering taking some additional certification courses to add to my skill base and I have considered holistic culinary, herbology, and agriculture courses. This pandemic has really made an impact on the American diet and the citizens that consume our offerings nationwide.
