    In addition to growing the pastry department to a team of four, making all breads, viennoiseries, and desserts in-house, I have taken on more of a significant operations role here. I took ownership of Optimum, our new inventory management control system, which includes invoice reconciliation, cost tracking, report analysis and POS-system integration. To that end, I also trained with Silverware to become the in-house manager of our POS software, rebuilding it from the ground up after years of neglect. I have received my WSET-Level 1 certification, as well as a continuing education certificate from the Callebaut Academy in Vegan Desserts. Huckleberry Restaurant was voted Best Restaurant in Bermuda by Bermudian Magazine readers the last two years in a row, and I was named Leader of the Year for Huckleberry Ltd. for 2021.
