My love for Thai cuisine led to the creation of Asian Mint, with 5 locations in Dallas since 2004. Recognized as Dallas Morning News Best Thai Restaurant, Eater Dallas’ #1 Best Thai Food, and CultureMap Dallas’ Top 100 Restaurants, the Asian-fusion concept has also received accolades from USA Today, Zagat, and TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.I am an award-winning cookbook author and frequently speak at events to share my Asian American entrepreneurial journey, inspiring others to follow their soul's calling. I share my passion for feeding souls through food, culture, and travel, offering experiences that include cooking classes, travel insights, and culinary retreats to Southeast Asia. I launched a YouTube series called Thai Takeover, where I take over kitchens and teach novice cooks how to create simple and easy Thai and Asian fusion dishes using my sauces. I have been a featured guest on several television cooking segments, including The Doctors, and my BuzzFeed Tasty videos have surpassed over 5 million views.CultureMap’s Tastemaker Awards named me one of the Top 10 Best Chefs in Dallas in 2021. I was recognized for skillfully pivoting during the pandemic by creating takeout programs that people could cook at home. I believe businesses should be both profitable and charitable, and Asian Mint donates to over 100 different charities, schools, and non-profit organizations.I was featured in D Magazine celebrating the most influential leaders in North Texas, listed among the Top 500 leaders driving the North Texas economy. Restaurant and Hospitality.com recognized my efforts on their front cover story during the pandemic, showcasing my creativity and ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances.My online cooking classes incorporate stories of my native Thailand and its traditions, giving participants a full multicultural experience. I have also been featured on the cover of Where Women Create and received the Women That Soar Award for “Business Award 2017.” That same year, I was honored to cook at the James Beard House in New York City, designing a special dinner celebrating Loy Krathong, Thailand’s lunar festival.I am dedicated to mentoring and challenging others to reach their greatest potential through organizations like Les Dames d’Escoffier International, which provides mentorship and scholarships for the next generation of female culinary students. My husband, two children, and I call Dallas, Texas home.
