• Preparing Lighting design layouts to guide in placement of lighting fixtures during construction. • Prepare Electrical power layout and Lightning protection systems and earthing design drawings. • Prepare single line diagrams as per the load calculations and electrical requirements. • Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) for any further information required to aid in preparation of designs and load calculations. • Assist the Business development group with technical information during preparation of proposals for submission of tenders. • Prepare load schedules and perform calculations for cable sizing and current protection device sizing. • Peer to peer review of electrical layouts and load schedules for quality control. • Provide support to deployed stuff with technical support as is required.

Nairobi

• Develop electrical layout designs for different clients including banks, residential/apartment blocks, commercial and office blocks.• Generate bid documents from the design drawings and construction standards and facilitate the procurement process in identification of bidders, sending out bids and the tender opening process. • Facilitate analysis of bid documents and once the bid process has been completed, advise the client on the best suited contractor for their project. This recommendation follows my teams’ analysis of the technical capabilities as well as the competitiveness of the bid documents submitted by the participating contractors. • Responsible for supervising and guiding technical teams in the implementation of the designs during the construction period. This technical teams are ideally made up of electrical technicians, data and structured cabling technicians, generator technicians, fire and security alarm specialists, Uninterruptible Power Supply installers and Automatic voltage Stabilizer installers • Authorize payments to the contractors after inspection of work done and in line with the contract guidelines. • Attend site meetings and inspections on behalf of the company director, during the project duration to monitor progress and quality and draft progress reports for submission to the director and the clients.• Provide recommendations and advice to the client during the design and construction phase in regards to quality and functionality of the tools, equipment and materials used in the projects. • Advising clients on energy saving measures to still achieve maximum functionality of the project as intended while reducing power consumption and wastage of power resulting in savings on monthly bills.

Nairobi

• Responsible for managing a team of technicians during the construction of a commercial office block in Nairobi. • Developing working drawings from the design drawings issued by the Project engineer. • Guiding and advising technicians on the interpretation and implementation of the working drawings. • Task allocation and continuous follow up of the technicians to ensure design and construction standards are adhered to. • Attending site meetings with the construction team, comprising of the client, architect, quantity surveyor and the electrical engineer, and submitting progress reports to the project engineer.

Nairobi

• Monitoring the operation and maintenance of various Air Navigational Equipment.• Maintenance of power supplies in general. • Installation of computer software’s and user support. • Maintenance of computer networks. • Application of computer, networking and information technology in Air Navigation services.
