I am passionate about ending homelessness. As an undergraduate student at ASU, I began volunteering at a Catholic Worker/ dining hall/ hospitality center and was forever changed by the fact that so many people are struggling to make ends meet and do not have a roof over their head. With this realization, I began to dedicate my work to ending homelessness.I completed a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management (MNPS) while working at a small nonprofit providing affordable housing to low-income families. I later joined UMOM New Day Centers which offers the largest array services for at-risk and homeless families in Arizona including a full continuum of services for families. Additionally, UMOM operates the Family Housing Hub, the Maricopa County coordinated entry site for families seeking homeless services.I wish to use my passion, knowledge and experience in the nonprofit sector to leverage resources and create change.Specialties: general nonprofit management, program development and management, staff development, board governance.
