Patient Support Representative, 06/2011-12/2013I started at VMSG as a volunteer. I began working in wards learning basic patient care, how to write records, identifying different states of patient pain, comfort, happiness and discontent. I adequately learned how to manage my time doing multiple tasks (i.e. dishes, laundry, treatment ect.). Shortly thereafter, I began to work with Dr. Ian Holsworth, Dr. Adrienne Bentley, Dr. Mary Dulisch and Dr. Kenneth Bruecker as their assistant, I would help hold the patients for orthopedic exams, schedule appointments, present and go over estimates for hospitalization or surgical procedures, connect with clients and check in on patients.
