In 2022, I completed my Master's degree at Aarhus University in Intercultural Studies and returned to Germany. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in linguistics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in German Language, Literature, and Culture. I am greatly interested in internationality, cultures, diversity and international and cultural exchange. Because of this, I have completed two semesters abroad since beginning my university career: first in Berlin, Germany, at the Goethe Institut in the summer of 2013, where I received state funded language and culture courses. Then in 2016, I worked in Munich, Germany, at the Georgia Department of Economic Development as a Marketing Associate Intern, where I assisted with daily international business activities and gained job experience and intercultural insights in a government setting.I applied for and received a United States Fulbright Grant in 2017 and moved to Rostock, Germany, where I worked in an English immersion school, primarily teaching elementary school children. I have since worked as a freelance educator, continuing on through my studies. My time teaching has served largely as consulting experience, serving as cultural instruction and training, including intensive business and culture seminars, as well as general English lessons.My career goal is to become an Intercultural Consultant and Trainer. In the contemporary globalized world, I think it is necessary to develop greater intercultural competencies both in private and in corporate settings. In order to grow both as individuals and companies, both employees and management should be educated on intercultural and cross-cultural challenges. Beginning in secondary school, I have worked different part-time jobs. Juggling academic and professional responsibilities taught me both invaluable skills such as organization, communication, and time management, but also how the professional world operates. I have a wealth of experience in customer service, administration, and education, and a strong and steady work ethic. As such, I am expressive, communicative, organized, and well versed in all Microsoft programs.
