At Volunteer Science, I wrote, scheduled, and published promotional social media posts, and engaged with other academia and citizen science organizations. I created written and graphic design content for various social media campaigns.

Assisted in key tasks on the MITEI’s Communications team drafting social media, maintaining the website, newsletters, event promotion, and other tasks. I am particularly proud of the time I spent working closely with researchers on MITEI’s Utility of the Future study, a large consortium study which addressed emerging issues in the electric power sector. I ensured copyright permissions were obtained for all figures used in the study, created graphic design work used at events for the study’s rollout, proof-read the study, and created promotional videos for it.

Brainstormed and created new ways to showcase the accomplishments and relevance of Northeastern English department students and graduates and extensively sued Wordpress to update and present outreach content.

Developed a narrative story and verbal feedback script for a study investigating how virtual reality and gaming can be used to improve physical therapy outcomes for children, especially those with movement impairments. I wrote verbal feedback for researchers to use with children for both experimental and control groups, with narrative-based information included in the experimental group and neutral information included in the control groups. I also researchers assisted in implementing the study, and conducted administrative and organizational tasks.
