With the help of Rutgers Summer Service Initiative, I was able to intern at the American Friends Service Committee, a non profit organization that provides social justice and immigration services. #scarletserviceRoles and Responsibilites:- Conducted three TPS application clinics where we were able to submit over 40 applications to USCIS in a timely manner. -Interacted and assisted members of Newark community with sensitive various immigration matters. - Assisted lawyers with the filings of asylum applications and update AFSC's software to reflect the current status of applications.@rutgersu @RutgersCareers
