Studying Design and Technology during secondary school, following on from this choosing a Bachelors of Industrial Design (Honours) has given me the information and skills to work as a Junior Industrial and Product Designer. I have also worked part time at cafes including Gloria Jeans and Woolworths Head Office as a supportive and encouraging team member. I have always played team sports my whole life and find that because of this I am highly capable at working well in a team as well as leading a team.These experiences have led to the development of my leadership skills as well as teamwork, collaboration and time management. Completing a multitude of cross-disciplinary designs during my degree and visiting multiple manufacturing warehouses, I have a broad knowledge of the design industry.In 2018 and 2019 I was in the top 10% of students at Western Sydney School of Science, Engineering and Mathematics (SCEM) and was awarded a place on the Dean's Merit List for my ongoing efforts and high achievements throughout the academic year. I spent my 2020 gaining Industrial Design experience at Micron Manufacturing in Glendenning and then was hired as a Part-Time Junior Industrial Designer to work for the company from October 2020. I am a quick learner with lots of enthusiasm and work extremely well in a team. I'm currently looking for Full Time positions in the Industrial Design Industry with companies who add value to their products viaa innovation, enhanced user experience and sustainable design. My favourite parts of the design process would be iteration and sketching, I love to be creative everyday and this passion is clear in my work. I enjoy working on innovative ideas and visualising these through sketching, hand rendering using copic markers, 3D CAD models as well as CAD rendering. I believe this visualisation is extremely important to a successful design and I enjoy using these techniques to communicate the design possibilities of my ideas.
