As a certified Project Management Professional with extensive experience in product development, team management, and organizational operations, I've always been passionate about driving change and innovation in organizations. Self-taught in Adobe Creative Suite and website content management tools, I build efficient, affordable solutions to catalyze change and catapult organizations to the next level of growth. With experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors, I've played an integral role in large-scale event planning, branding, and fundraising efforts to raise community awareness around vital issues such as literacy, volunteerism, and art. Spearheading mission-critical efforts for RJA Management, Inc., the South College Community Association, and Literacy San Antonio, I've enhanced organizational visibility and streamlined business processes. I'm currently consulting in the areas of social media, executive recruitment, web design, graphic design, and data collections. I also provide pro-bono services to area nonprofits. My current work platform involves raising awareness for Literacy San Antonio and TXReads. In Texas, only 35% of 3rd graders meet grade-level reading benchmarks. But research shows that 95% of students will learn to read with effective reading instruction. Dedicated to improving children's reading outcomes, TXReads helps educators systematically align reading instruction with the science of reading. Ranking in the Top 5 of non-ESC Texas Reading Academies, TXReads partners with school district leaders to support teachers in the implementation of structured literacy instruction, the most effective reading instruction.I received a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of California, Merced before earning a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California’s Price School of Public Policy (#fighton).
