• Create and present SAP and partner software solution demos that address end-to-end business processes for retailers • Deliver onsite product demonstrations and executive presentations, customized to specific business needs for inventory management, merchandising, POS (point of sale), Hybris and ecommerce solutions.• Develop live demonstrations and present at industry events; this includes working in coordination with the marketing team on the presentation medium, format, and collateral.• Build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships beginning with the RFP process.• Complete discovery calls to learn about retailer business processes and understand their goals; this research is used to map out demos that are aligned with a company and maximize sales opportunities. • Establish customer expertise levels and attendee specialties ahead of each demonstration to ensure the correct SAP personnel are available to support a successful presentation. • Combine and clarify input from cross-functional teams in way that maintains focus on the client and employs a design thinking approach to truly uncover what a business needs to realize goals. • Collaborate with software developers to create or customize applications for customer demonstrations.• Create short product pitches for trade shows that quickly grab attention, create a positive response, and open discussions with prospects on products and solutions. • Represent SAP at industry events and trade shows, including the NRF (National Retail Federation) BIG Show, The Retail Forum, and SAPPHIRE NOW to effectively communicate with customers and inform them about new solutions to transform their business. • Travel approximately 70% of the time, across the US and Canada to deliver live, onsite demonstrations for clients, receive product training, and participate in industry events and trade shows.
