I had the opportunity to work with small to mid size businesses, offering experienced, customized HR and Recruiting services. Working with clients across industries, I focused on organizational development, process and policy development, culture building and finding the right people for the right roles. The opportunity to learn multiple businesses and teams allowed me to further develop the people skills I have been practicing for years.

As the Director of HR, I built and led a team responsible for the ongoing hiring, development and retention of employees for two breweries and a national sales team. Across business units spanning manufacturing, visitor experience and sales and marketing, I had the unique role of bringing the business groups together to ensure that we were operating with maximum efficiency and ease.

In my role as the Human Resources Business Partner I supported the Technical Services and Sales groups. My time was spent on employee and manager development, compensation analysis, employee relations, recruitment, and accountable performance management. I was also heavily entrenched in international assignments and integration projects over the last 3 years of my employment. Integration included both international and domestic companies into Perceptive Software, along with the integration of Perceptive into Lexmark International.

During my tenure at KU, I was also responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of Health Care Assistants, Unit Secretaries and Administrative Assistants Hospital wide. I also had the opportunity to place temporary and permanent employees in the administrative, financial, manufacturing and IT fields.

As Employment Coordinator, I was responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of all positions within the 32 KGS offices in Kansas and Oklahoma. The company roles ranged from Probationary Gas Workers to the Vice President level. I was involved in union contract negotiations for the 4 unions associated with KGS. I also had the opportunity to respond to DOL requests and Workers Compensation claims.
