• Under the management of the Senior Director of Philanthropy, the Director of Corporate Philanthropy is responsible for managing all strategies and activities for the identification, qualification, cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of corporate donors• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Philanthropy to create and execute a comprehensive annual strategy for corporate engagement while also holding accountability for surpassing annual revenue targets through corporate donations.• Effectively oversee and engage with an active portfolio of 50-75 corporate donors, while crafting compelling proposals tailored to each corporation's CSR (corporate social responsibility) priorities and aligning them with MFB's funding opportunities

The EmbeddingPurpose@Nasdaq Specialist managed programs and partnerships with nonprofit and for-profit partners across the globe and was responsible for day-to-day coordination of volunteer opportunities serving nonprofit partners, including providing customer service and managing data/systems.

In this role, the Sr. Corporate Citizenship Specialist managed corporate contributions and corporate citizenship-related programs for Pepco Holdings throughout the service territory (Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power, and Pepco) and other related organizations, including grants and in-kind gifts, grant-related benefits, and officer/employee participation in community events. The Sr. Corporate Citizenship Specialist also assisted in cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with key community and nonprofit stakeholders by serving as the principal liaison to non-profit organizations requesting or receiving support.

Selected as the 2020 William Randolph Hearst Fellow to undertake research, writing, logistical, and administrative support for PSI’s leadership initiatives, public programs, and convenings. In this role, the fellow provided research support for various acts and bills, such as the Taxpayer First Act of 2019 and The Grant Reporting Efficiency and Agreements Transparency (GREAT) Act of 2019. Supports the Nonprofit Data Project convenings and programming, works with nonprofit leaders nationwide to implement procedures for law enactment. The fellow also supported efforts to seek, inform, and maximize the impact of mission-driven, grantmaking foundations.

Selected as a Philanthropy Fellow through the University of Maryland's Do Good Institute to support the efforts of an organization catalyzed to inspire others to act and spur innovative solutions to tackle today’s issues. The fellow worked closely with ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities to support programming with local and national partnerships and designed a narrative report complete with research, identifying & cataloging active Black philanthropists in the U.S. and its territories for the Chronicle of Black Philanthropy database.

This role worked closely with 80+ local corporate and foundation partnerships to develop, oversee, and align key aspects of a partner’s corporate social responsibility policies, programs, and goals in education and diversity initiatives. The Community Philanthropy and Partnerships Specialist served as primary contact cultivation of more than $100,000 from private foundation grants for program implementation and design. This role engaged with external CSR stakeholders to strengthen SEED relationships, manage risk in key areas, improve sustainability knowledge, and build relationships with regional, national, and international peers/influencers.
