At the Office of Violence Prevention (OVP), Chelsea serves as a liaison to all levels of City Government and constituents of Philadelphia. As a Program Specialist, Chelsea has the pleasure of managing internal and external projects while providing reliable and efficient support to the Executive Director and OVP team. In her portfolio, she assists in implementing OVP programs including but not limited to the Philadelphia Roadmap to Safer Communities, Group Violence Intervention Program (GVI), Targeted Community Investment Grant, and the Community Crisis Intervention Program. Chelsea is pursuing a master’s in educational leadership and policy from Temple University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from Howard University.
