Manage a team of 10+ Transaction Coordinators, conduct interviews, train new hires. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective documentation processes. Train new hires within the Funding Department, motivate and assist in reaching monthly goals.

Prepare lease agreements and other necessary documentation in accordance with the lender’s approval. Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the documentation and funding process. Work closely with the Credit Department, sales reps, vendors, lenders, and clients.

As a Credit Manager, I was responsible for analyzing a customer's credit report and business information to determine where to take the file for the best chance of an approval. I processed applications (Dun & Bradstreet, Secretary of State, CLEAR, PayNet), pulled and analyzed credit reports (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion), and managed guidelines & information from 15+ lenders. This was a high-volume, fast-paced role that required effective communication with our executives, sales reps, and lenders. At this time Taycor Financial was still relatively small (~15-20 employees) and bringing in a lot of business. I offered to help wherever needed, and spent time working Retention for Working Capital. This was a good opportunity for me to learn about more than just Equipment Leasing/Financing, and to fine-tune my phone skills with customers while gaining experience in sales.

Working directly with clients to obtain and process their files. Analyzing credit, business information, equipment information, etc. to determine which funding source to submit the file to. Packaging files specific to funding sources' needs and completing a descriptive write-up for each submittal. Processing approvals; generating approval term options; completing an in-depth financial analysis of each file.

Recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback. Schedule employees and manage work shifts. Provide ongoing training to staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.Identify and nurture talent within the team for potential advancement. Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues.

I had started as a personal training counselor and quickly moved up to personal training director within two months. I was responsible for managing 5 personal trainers as well as 2-3 counsellors under me. I had to have an understanding of our business metrics and create a plan to make our goal each month.
