-Headed the analysis of a novel pediatric survey paradigm using factor analyses, reliability testing, multiple regression, and nonparametric statistics using SPSS and visreg from R from a dataset of over 100 children to apply results to clinical practice.-Produced data visualizations for linear models in R using packages such as ggplot and visreg to represent results from a longitudinal clinical dataset of 200+ online survey participants.-Mentored 1 undergraduate student to prepare a research talk and poster as part of MSU’s Summer Research Opportunities (SROP) program that aims to increase the enrollment of underrepresented students into research graduate programs. -Mentored 4 undergraduate researchers on projects for both large, campus-wide conferences.-Spearheaded presentations at research conferences, including 3 poster presentations and two technical talks to audiences with a range of expertise.

-Facilitated data collection through the support of and coordination with MR tech and speech pathology staff of over 200 longitudinal MRI scans and their behavioral datasets for a longitudinal pediatric study.-Developed MRI desensitization procedures and materials to ensure quality MRI data collection and reduce attrition while spearheading a project analyzing the factors that contribute to successful MRI data collection in preschool-aged children.-Analyzed a longitudinal dataset of 188 total structural MRI scans in preschool- and school-aged children who stutter using MATLAB, AFNI, and SPM and created data visualizations using R.-Interpreted and presented data outcomes for 5 posters and one research technical talk at international conferences such as the International Fluency Association (Hiroshima, Japan), Oxford Dysfluency Conference (Oxford, England), and Conference on Stuttering (Rome, Italy)-Executed 19 total conference presentations, including two technical research talks within MSU and at scientific conferences to audiences with wide ranges of developmental stuttering, speech pathology, and neuroscience expertise.-Published 2 first-author papers and one second-author paper in leading journals in the field as well as four conference proceedings and a PhD dissertation-Mentored 15 undergraduate researchers on projects for both local and nationwide research conference presentations.-Built rapport with families of children who stutter to optimize outcome measurements and reduce attrition. -Collaborated with 3 different research labs nationwide to publish multifaceted analyses of stuttering neurophysiology.

-Independently formulated teaching plans and lectures for clinically-geared anatomy and physiology courses over two semesters with 66 students and 22 students employing in-person and online materials.-Taught a hybrid an introductory communicative sciences and disorders course with 64 students while independently designing teaching plans and lectures, geared to prepare future speech-language pathologists for clinical work.-Systematically designed grading rubrics for exams and written homework assignment materials I created via online portal.

-Facilitated data collection of over 200 MRI scans in pediatric populations to support a longitudinal study examining the structural and functional neuro-correlates associated with childhood developmental stuttering. -Built rapport with families of children who stutter to optimize outcome measurements and reduce attrition. - Designed and maintained data management systems in Microsoft Access and Excel. -Orchestrated scheduling of time-sensitive appointments for over 200 participants as part of a longitudinal MRI study.-Created recruitment materials and enrollment protocols leading to the involvement of over 100 participants in the lab's research projects.-Developing MRI desensitization procedures and materials to ensure quality MRI data collection and reduce attrition in a pediatric population of participants.-Facilitated communication and fostered teamwork on three major NIH projects across two different campuses.-Mentored 10+ students on data collection, analysis, and visualization, which resulted in 4 research presentations at scientific conferences.
