I am a hard-working and dedicated academic student, awarded an OP 3 (95.50 ATAR) concluding year 12 and completed a bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Queensland in February 2020. I currently study a Masters of Primary Education at The University of Queensland. In my final year of schooling, I received one of 10 senior student academic awards and awarded all VHA and HA in my senior subjects. I was further awarded senior academic art recipient and elected as one of 4 valedictory speakers at my graduation ceremony in 2016 by the Head of Year 12.In the field of Psychology and Health, I worked recently as a Disability Youth Support Worker for children, teens, and young adults suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder. I take my clients to their appropriate Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, and Psychologist appointments and further conduct in-home behavior therapy. Currently, I am Assistant Manager of Gossip Gowns and work as an Invigilator at Brisbane Grammar School, including supporting students with additional learning support. I am passionate, energetic, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. I have had leadership positions throughout my schooling (both primary and secondary) and in my work. I further completed teacher observation/volunteer work at St Leonard’s Brighton (Melbourne). I sat in Year 1-12 classrooms, from junior Art to Senior IB extension English and Psychology classes. This experience further strengthened my aspirations to become a teacher. I am committed to my place of employment and working to the best of my ability in all areas.All in all, I have gained valuable experience in my previous fields of employment and have provided the necessary skills that are important in future workplaces such as exceptional customer service skills, dependability, and reliability.
