As the office manager I was responsible for invoicing customers, collecting payments and providing customers with one-on-one guidance and assistance. I performed accounts payable and receivable duties via Quickbooks including- mailing statements, data entry, petty cash management and generate bank deposits. I performed USDA interactions, submitted label applications, and ensured HACCP and Organic compliance. I was also responsible for some human resources functions, such as running payroll, paying state and federal taxes, informing employees of benefits, and processing new-hire interactions. In addition to these responsibilities I also assisted in inventory management for production and retail, through Quickbooks. Upon generating deposits, I complete them either in branch or via remote deposit, and match all banking transactions in Quickbooks. Freight responsibilities were also called upon me, so I assist in scheduling shipments, stacking and wrapping pallets, generating manifests, moving and loading pallets using pallet jack/basic forklift skills, and creating Bill of Ladings.

As a cashier I rang up customers, counted back accurate change, and maintained a sanitary work environment. I assisted customers by weighing and packaging ready to eat and raw products. I also stocked inventory and helped customers locate products in the store.

As an intern for the Hutton Program through American Fisheries Society I served as a Stream Surveyor and Intern for a Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist. I surveyed streams for the Forest Service and collected data that was used for habitat restoration work. I also monitored water quality at a boat ramp construction site to ensure that the fish were not affected by discharge.

Through high school I was a student volunteer water tester. I operated a colorimeter to test water, ensuring that nitrate and phosphate levels were within safe parameters. I responded well to specific instructions to create accurate findings for all beneficiaries.
