I'm a mixed methods researcher with an emphasis on marketing and user experience. I believe in the value of qualitative and quantitative research combined, when possible. I have studied and understand how people process information and use this knowledge to inform my research whether it be about the customer or the business.My background is in Political Science. I received my PhD from the University of California, Merced from the Political Science Department in 2018. I received my BA in Cognitive Science in 2013, MA in Political Science in 2016. Much of my research combines both fields looking at politics in a nuance way. My research interests include party identification, political communication, political language. Some of my research includes looking at language complexity in the Supreme Court and political language during elections.
