Manage and direct the Missy and Plus denim and woven bottom teams, as well as women’s activewear

Designer for cut & sew knits and wovens. Responsible for managing accounts for Dress Barn, Chicos, White House Black Market, Fred Meyer and Ross.

- Accountable for conceptualizing each season’s color story, fabric choices and designs to present to the design director.- Design across a wide range of categories including knits, wovens, soft bottoms, dresses & activewear.- Use PLM to create and send out all tech packs to our overseas factories.- Interact closely with the graphics, tech, sourcing and production teams.- Ensure all product is designed smartly to meet child safety laws, while staying on trend and delivering fresh ideas/concepts to be the leaders in our market.- Work on catalogs and line assortments through InDesign to provide to our sales and sourcing teams- Present each collection at design checkpoints and present final collection to our sales team.- Communicate daily with our overseas agents and factories during fabric sourcing, sampling and production.- Responsible for creating Keynote presentations of Hurley boys, girls, and accessories product for midpoint and final presentations to Hurley and Nike corporate.

- Responsible for all lab dip/trims comments to factories overseas during production.- Involved in the design process from start to finish: shopping and researching trends to stay up to date and competitive in the market. Creating fabric, color and mood boards, sourcing and developing fabric, sketching, cads, and sending out tech packs for development samples.- Attended production fittings with the technical design team- Responsible for making trim and line sheets- Attended meetings with buyers during market weeks.- Capable of handling a fast paced environment and staying calm under pressure

Took garment specs and created spec packs using Excel and Illustrator.
