About Chelsea Gary, Phd
I have been eagerly digging into science books since I learned to read, so it was no surprise that my curiosity and passion led me to pursuing chemistry and biology. And, as a first-generation college student in a STEM field, I understand how to overcome the challenges associated with unfamiliar territory. One of my favorite aspects of science is the collaboration that takes place to achieve what can sometimes feel like an impossible goal. I certainly would not have completed my doctorate without the help of supportive mentors and colleagues. There is also more to me than my love of science! In my spare time you will probably find me reading, cooking, walking my dog, or playing video games with friends (usually Mario Party).Feel free to contact me through LinkedIn if you would like to get to know me better!
