Assist in planning and creating social media posts under the supervision of IRD staff, performing basic research for IRD media projects, drafting press releases, articles for the staff newsletter, intranet news items, and other written materials.

Assign and monitor tasks to the executive board, to ensure efficient operations.

Create graphics, manage, and make informative material for Instagram and LinkedIn profile. Participate in in-depth conversations with recognized individuals in athletic fields.

Assist in content creation, in regard to creating captions and working with templates in photoshop. Help with statistics, live scoring and game day operations for sporting events. Aid in office activities including proofreading/writing articles and creating player biographies.

The Junior Marketing Advisory Board is a group of passionate and driven marketing students who work together to engage and inform fellow peers on what Pamplin’s Marketing Department has to offer. Members work closely with the Marketing Advisory Board, an alumni advisory group, to help provide the best experience to our students.

Promote the Pamplin College of Business and Virginia Tech by participating in recruiting and yield events throughout the year.
