I recently completed my Masters Degree in Social, and previously have completed my Bachelors Degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. I had the amazing opportunity to complete my Bachelors Degree internship at CommUnity Partnership where I was located in Windsor and Leamington working with individuals experiencing mental health concerns. Following my internship, I was offered a contract position continuing my role at CommUnity Partnership as an individual support worker, group facilitator and advocate and was given the opportunity to be the lead on a program evaluation report. Through the Master of Social Work program, I completed my internship at Maryvale, where I have been given the opportunity to continue to build my skills and knowledge integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into practice. Allowing me the opportunity to further develop my skills and knowledge in working with vulnerable individuals to provide the most appropriate and effective support and services.
