I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and I’m also a certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor. With my 8 years of experience in systems administration within the automotive industry I specialize in cost and managerial accounting. I also have a passion for turning chaos into order, so I’m extremely organized and get much satisfaction from transforming a pile of papers into a robust filing system that is easy to maintain. Developing and documenting sustainable processes is also a unique skill in my wheelhouse. I decided to pursue a new career in accounting because I realized that I weirdly looked forward to working on our family budget and balancing the checkbook every week. Ask my husband about the custom budget pages I designed for my planner. I’m such a nerd. While taking my college classes I also realized that every business, regardless of industry or size, is required to keep financial records. And because my kids are still little I would need to find something I could do remotely. So now I enjoy the flexibility of running my own bookkeeping and accounting practice and there’s no sign of stopping!My mission is to make it easier for business owners to run their operations and do what they’re passionate about. I understand that business owners don’t dream about journal entries or bank reconciliations. (I do, however.) They dream about how their products or services will solve a problem for their customers or improve the community.
