Work closely with the President, VP-Operations, and Operations staff to identify improvement projects and cost reduction objectives.Oversee and managing AMT continuous improvement initiatives which will result in reductions in manufacturing costs, lead time and improvements in safety, quality and working capital. Responsible for training, implementing cost reductions, leading kaizen events, process improvement projects, capital projects and providing direction for improvement activities to support the manufacturing goals and objectives of the corporation.Lead the quality department, supply chain and sourcing to support quality, inventory and materials cost reduction goals and improvements.Train and mentor process owners in the use of problem solving tools, lean manufacturing approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop a continuous improvement mindset at the plant level. Lead and facilitate the management team in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve productivity throughout the entire value stream including administrative processes.

Oversee manufacturing engineering, Facility Maintenance functions and personnel. Responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of all production related manufacturing equipment & processes required to manufacture a high quality product in a repeatable and cost effective manner. Responsible for implementing and maintaining World Class, Lean, TPM, Quality processes, continuous improvements and other advanced manufacturing methodologies and systems. Ensures production equipment is capable and has capacity for growth; involves integrating equipment, people, material flow systems, and information systems. Drive continuous improvement in labor costs through waste reduction production efficiency, and operations improvement. Providing facilities engineering leadership, manage maintenance staff and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Develops safety programs and ensures facility compliance with OSHA requirements

Executed and managed multiple plant locations quality assurance system and activities including quality engineering, product release, testing, non conformance, complaint investigations, document control, and training systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements by providing vision, strategic and tactical planning.Performed pre-audits, ensured that the company objectives are linked to customer needs and expectation. Instrumental new product launches through advanced quality planning including PPAP, Interviewed, hired and trained people.Involved, monitored and developed global suppliers (quality)Directed quality campaign leading Design of experiments to improve process. Estabilished process audit system and standard operating procedures.

Responsible to Corporate Vice President for product development; tooling, process, system, layout design; plant-wide continuous improvement, Quality assurance and safety support of 800 employees, 3-shift operation. Supervised 12 salaried direct reports, and 14 hourly quality inspectors.Managed and involved transfer of select products to China facility without transitional downtime, delivery, or quality issues.Developed and maintained metrics. Involved in day to day floor activities, generated reports, participated in daily production meetings, monthly / quarterly reviews and emergency employee meetings to assure problems were addressed and corrective measures put into place, alleviating down time as well as excessive scrap.
