I am confident, ambitious and love a new challenge!I began my HR career as an Employee Services Officer which involved completing recruitment checks, advising managers about policies and procedures, processing payroll data on SAP and managing telephone queries from employees with varying levels of responsibility. In October 2014, I was appointed to the post of Trainee HR Consultant whilst I completed my Level 5 CIPD qualification. This opportunity allowed me to acquire knowledge through formal learning which complimented my learning in this role. Upon completion of this course, I was appointed to a permanent HR Consultant role and have since been promoted to the role of HR & OD Business Partner.Whilst working as both a trainee and qualified HR & OD Consultant, I have supported managers with attendance management, disciplinaries, grievances and capability proceedings. This support has ranged from advice through to supporting managers with dismissal. Working in a public sector organisation managing significant budget cuts, I have supported the transformation agenda as part of collaborative working with services and trade unions to transform services whilst maintaining a high standard of service to customers. This has involved designing employee engagement sessions, facilitating such sessions and working closely with services to redesign their services to maximise service outcomes.As a HR & OD Business Parter, I work closely with senior lead ship teams to support their workforce strategy, succession planning and other people management related issues.I have supported service redesigns and overseen several TUPE transfers. I provide support to managers of varying levels within Salford City Council with people management queries and with the delivery of their strategic business plans.I embrace a challenge and continuously look for opportunities to utilise and develop my skills!
