Since founding ChemDAQ it has been our mission to provide best-in-class chemical vapor monitoring solutions specializing in peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and ethylene oxide detection. As President and CEO I am responsible for managing all cross functional teams, driving business development, R&D, and creating shareholder value. I am also a presenter at industry conferences in both Healthcare and Food and Beverage industries speaking on topics such as the potential hazards of chemical exposure, solutions for preventing over exposure, and regulatory topics such as OSHA’s HazCom Standard and exposure limits released by the ACGIH, NIOSH, and other organizations. ChemDAQ’s flagship product, SteriTrac, was originally developed to be a fixed monitoring system for hospital Central Sterile Processing departments working with potentially hazardous chemicals peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and ethylene oxide. SteriTrac also has application in the Food and Beverage industry for aseptic bottling companies and meat production facilities using peracetic acid or hydrogen peroxide. Our most recent product is SafeCide, a portable monitoring system used for spot checks that can also be worn as a personnel monitor for IH monitoring and analysis. By offering both fixed and portable monitoring solutions we are able to serve both the Healthcare and Food and Beverage markets with comprehensive solutions that meet the needs of each unique facility.

AAPPA, the Aseptic and Antimicrobial Processing and Packaging Association was formed in early 2015 to address communication, training, and safety education needs and to serve as the voice for the industry.AAPPA brings together food and beverage producers, processors, packaging suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and other stakeholders in the industry.Since its formation, AAPPA has been working to quickly initiate strategies focused on enhancing worker safety education and training needs. We are currently working to establish best practices for the use of peracetic acid. AAPPA will also engage in state, federal, and international regulatory developments impacting the food and beverage industry, advocate for sound scientific research on which to base safety standards and thresholds, and lead efforts in the development of best practices for worker protection, spill clean-up, and other safety areas.There are seven founding members of AAPPA: Lucozade Ribena Suntory Limited (LRS); Zee Company; Krones; ChemDAQ, Inc.; Solvay; Nestlé; and Coca-Cola.AAPPA is managed by B&C® Consortia Management, L.L.C.
