I was born and raised in Hsinchu, Taiwan. I attended the University of Feng-Chia and received my master’s degree in Statistics. I have worked for over 20 years as a quality senior engineer, section manager or assistant manager in Hsinchu or Taipei for various companies including PETC, MiTAC, Synergy, Arima, ZyXEL, Wistron and Feedback. Therefore, I have over 20 years of experience in electronics manufacturing operations and quality assurance. I started off my career as a quality section manager 21 years ago with PETC company where I performed "In process " and "Final" quality control duties. In that role, a major accomplishment I'm most proud was that I was able to train engineers how to improve their quality skills like SPC, MSA, etc..Currently, I am employed as an assistant manager of quality assurance department at Feedback Corp.. The Quality Assistant Manager is responsible for QC and QA team structure, human resources and personnel management, such as scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. I also need to support all activities in QA, QC, Engineering, MFG, etc. teams to ensure that both customers and company’s specifications are met to the maximum satisfactory.Because I am an assistant quality manager, I spend a lot of time dealing with quality issues. I need to have proactive mindset to solve problems asap to avoid customer complaint prior to shipment. I always provide or suggest engineering teams to adapt system control action approach instead of manually control.Many customers will provide supplier assessment questionnaires to our company if they want to do business with you. They need to do supplier evaluation in advance. Therefore, I have to hold a meeting to discuss the issues with related dept. in order to fill in the questionnaires effectively. I need to have a methodical approach to answer or assign these questions to related dept.. Currently, I am seeking a quality managerial position in electronic field. I understand that for the position of Quality Assistant or Manager that you're hiring for someone with strong process improvement skills and ability. Although I'm from an non-engineering background. Due to my strong experiences and achievements in successfully identifying gaps and creating efficiencies, I am confident I 'll be able to succeed in this role you're hiring for.
