Senior Program Manager
CurrentLeading cross-functional, global teams in the U.S., India and China to release flagship ultrasound systems in China. With a revenue impact equal to 25% of company’s annual revenue, the program goal is to release 26 system configurations under 8 separate licenses. Products will be built in China for the Chinese market. Worked closely with marketing and regulatory teams to define the scope of the program. Leading multifunctional teams to complete medical device type tests, complete clinical evaluation reports and obtain regulatory approvals. Managing R&D efforts in new product introduction that have very complex software and hardware elements. The program also aims to improve time to market for company’s flagship product. Previously led large scale business transformation program that ensured the company’s continued ability to sell products in the EU and 48 other countries. The program was successfully completed after 3 years and had a total business impact on over €250M annual revenue. Regularly reported program status to Philips COO and business group executive steering committee. Managed multiple global stakeholders including Philips headquarter teams in Netherland, Philips business groups and global suppliers located in the EU, U.S., India and China. The program’s aim is to meet sweeping changes in EU’s medical device regulatory requirement (EUMDR). Program core team consisted of 10 workstreams led by managers and directors and a total of 56 individual contributors representing R&D, supply chain, quality and regulatory, marketing and service teams. Deployed program management and problem-solving methodology to navigate ambiguous program requirements and a highly complex interdependencies between workstreams and supporting programs. Program finished on time and under budget.
