Pursuing design as a career is like riding a roller coaster, with ups and downs. The process of overcoming all the challenges has groomed me to become an aspiring and passionate interior designer.The world is mysterious with many hidden surprises waiting to be explored. As a person that loves to see and capture the little things happening around me, it made me a meticulous designer who always take care of the details of my work. By stepping into the field of design, my eyes are now opened and I have learned to be more observant to the surrounding. Through the use of different media such as hand sketches and photography have enabled me to express my thoughts and ideas in an interesting ways. It allows me to think out of the box and be more imaginative. Nevertheless, the experience of growing up in china and living in Singapore for decades gives me a deeper understanding of the different cultural aspects, which enable me to visualize things from a different perspective. Design has taught me to be an independent learner and not being afraid of failure. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone to search for the wonder of design, to feel design with our heart and understand it with meaning.
