    • A tiny, wireless, injectable sensing device that uses ultrasound to monitor physiological signals, such as the body temperature, to provide distributed and localized sensing inside the body at the desired locations for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.- Included in two Wikipedia pages as a scientific breakthrough and cited as "the world’s smallest single-chip system" with a size comparable to that of a dust mite- Interviewed by VICE News (link shown below)- Produced a granted patent and several high-impact publications, including a Science Advances paper (Altmetric Attention Score of 920 currently, link shown below)- Reported by numerous media outlets from different countries across the globe in multiple languages (https://scienceadvances.altmetric.com/details/105479205/news)- Twittered over 1000 times covering over 1.5M followers• A two-dimensional (4 mm x 5 mm) ultrasound phased-array transceiver in TSMC 180nm technology with a 26×26 array of integrated piezoelectric transducers for emerging applications such as ultrasound neuromodulation and ultrasonic powering of implantable devices. With novel and customized integration and packaging approaches, this device is several orders of magnitude smaller than commercially available ultrasound imaging probes.• An inductively powered CMOS transceiver with integrated RF receiver coils for simultaneous two-way, near-field data telemetry and power transmission for implantable systems. The design features customized fabrication approaches making the chip thin and flexible with a tissue-like form factor that has not been achieved before.
