Head of the newly formed Application Engineering Section, which is responsible for establishing and propagating a DevSecOps model for reliably delivering comprehensively-tested, resilient, and secure ICT solutions with a faster time to market on the Government on Commercial Cloud (AWS) platform. The Section also serves as the centre of excellence for architecting the organisation's cloud application landscape and driving its cloud migration effort across all product and development teams. Advancement towards these goals involves the building up of stream-aligned software development teams with cross functional capabilities across the product development lifecycle, the creation of an engineering productivity platform of DevSecOps toolchain, as well as the establishment of a knowledge base of cloud application solution patterns which sets the technical direction for all of the organisation's future cloud applications. These pioneer teams and engineering productivity initiatives form the first steps towards the organisation's proliferation of DevSecOps culture.Concurrently leading the organisation's digital transformation efforts through the design and coordination of the Digital Master Plan - a structured organisation-wide business process reengineering endeavor that seeks to streamline processes by implementing appropriate ICT solutions and developing matching digital capabilities amongst the staff.

Team leader of the Carparks Systems Team in HDB's Information Services Group. Leads a team of 16 in designing, developing and deploying ICT solutions for HDB's Carpark operations, facilitating the implementation of HDB's carpark management polices across more than 2100 carparks throughout Singapore.The ecosystem of ICT solutions managed by the team forms the enabling platform through which information critical to the management of HDB's carparks are channeled from web applications (JavaEE / JSF / JSP) to the carpark gantries, and also from handheld enforcement devices back to centralised servers. These information include parameters for each carpark, records of special parking arrangements for motorists, and parking offence records.Devises the goals and operationalisation mechanisms of HDB's Digital Transformation efforts as part of the secretariat for HDB's Digital Master Plan Steering Committee. Coordinates the efforts from cross-domain Work Groups in reengineering HDB's business processes to leverage ICT in providing better services to stakeholders, and achieve more effective internal processes.

Team leader of the Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and 3D Modelling Team in HDB's Information Services Group. Leads a team of 10 in driving adoption of GIS, 3D and immersive technology applications across the organisation, as well as designing, developing and maintaining such applications within HDB.Projects developed by the team include GIS web applications (ArcGIS JavaScript API / JavaEE) used by town planners to capture land records, optimise land use planning, visualise planning data and perform scenario analysis of town plans. The team also develops immersive technology applications (Unity3D) including the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in co-designing of HDB community spaces with residents, visualisation of flat interior prior to completion, and experiential learning for HDB staff.Devises the goals and operationalisation mechanisms of HDB's Digital Transformation efforts as part of the secretariat for HDB's Digital Master Plan Steering Committee. Technical Lead and Project Manager for the development of Geographical Information Systems (using ArcGIS JavaScript API / JavaEE) and immersive technology (using Unity3D) applications. These applications support a wide range of HDB operations from town planning to design reviews to enhancing customer engagement experiences. Projects include a GIS system to help town planners optimise the development schedule of HDB's land stock, a Virtual Reality (VR) immersive application that allows HDB residents to participate in the designing of their own community spaces, as well as a Microsoft HoloLens project that helps designers visualise proposed designs in the context of existing HDB towns.Secretary for corporate level steering committees formed to spearhead Information Communication Technology (ICT) initiatives across the organization.

Developed a series of dashboards for the building maintenance team using SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA), helping them identify key trends regarding various types of defects in buildings owned by the agency in real-time. The project is a proof of concept for the effectiveness of the widespread adoption of data visualisation tools within the agency and it was to be presented to the CEO as part of the agency's involvement in the Smart Nation initiative.Tasked as one of the pioneer users of the SAS VA implementation in the agency, helping to test and troubleshoot the system as well as compile a set of user manual for other users.

Taught in a module titled Enterprise Systems Development Concepts with a class size of around 40 students during my sophomore year in the university. The module focuses on equipping students with basic skills in Java EE and developing enterprise systems using the Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) architecture.

Assisted in the data analysis effort of an academic research initiated by the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC) entitled "Technology-supported workplace simulation and the flipped classroom – an integrated and intensive approach to prepare university students for the working world". The main area of contribution involved the development of an Excel-based system to help structure and quantify open-ended feedback from participants of a pilot study involving a flipped classroom environment.
