Full Stack Software Developer Intern
Current- Contributed as a full-stack software engineer to developing the Hate-Crime-Tracker app, a unique tool dedicated to combating unfairness in the Asian community.- Collaborated with team members using React Native, Python, and Typescript to develop and test features for 1 Thing Org’s Anti-Asian Hate Crime Tracker Application's home screen. Contributed to a 30% increase in app performance by removing and fixing bugs. - Leveraged Google Cloud Storage as a backend cloud computing service to efficiently host database and authentication. Optimized REST API endpoints to improve loading times for better app performance.- Led a team of 10 members, and collaborated with design teams and project managers to develop and improve key features for the app allowing a user-friendly and multiplatform mobile app. Using Git operations to collaborate with team members for effective version control.
