Dear Hiring Manager and viewers This is CHEN-YUN WU. I am a graduate student of Business Analytics and Project Management at the University of Connecticut. I have full range of knowledge and skills of both data science and data engineering. I had worked for Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation. I was responsible for build the LSTM model to discern defected chips. I used OpenCV, Pillow, and Scipy to perform image preprocessing and feature engineering. I built two models, LSTM and VGG16, with Keras and Pytorch. In order to achieve better computation efficiency and higher classification accuracy, I deployed transfer learning and early stopping methods to achieve goals. During the internship, I was also responsible for sanction screening project , which was executed with Natural Language Processing methods, including transformation of raw texts flow, creation of TD-IDF matrix and clustering using K-means and Euclidean distances to label our customers into three group with different risk levels, mild, moderate and high-risk.
