I coded my first game on a Casio Power Graphic calculator, read my first book on AI at the age of 12, and wrote my fist BASIC program on a Texas Instrument 99 4/A console computer that used an audio tape recorder for storage! #nostalgiaI've been a corporate grunt, a serial entrepreneur (founding a gaming league, a tech startup and a video production house), a coach & mentor to startups and a very successful freelance product manager. Most pertinently though, I'm a problem solver and a doer. I like building and leading rockstar teams. I like talking to users, writing user stories and creating delightful user experiences. I get things done. I've helped great companies like the Boston Consulting Group, Stanley Black & Decker and Arizona State University to analyze, improve and deploy their products at scale.I've led successful Kickstarter campaigns, launched over a dozen products to market and helped startups raise funds and get acquired.Values:- Frugality: Constraints breed resourcefulness and innovation. My son calls me cheap, I call it being efficient.-Ownership: Everything is my fault, and only I can fix it. This isn't meant to be an objective view, but it's the only actionable mindset to have. -Higher risk appetite than average Joe: I punch above my weight. Safe is boring. Impossible is a challenge. - Accountability: Making mistakes is part of the game. Repeating mistakes is a problem. Hiding mistakes is criminal. Owning mistakes is noble. -Net positive value: I carry my weight, and then some, but I really shine when I can help and empower team members to do the same.
