Profile bio

About Chenchen Lee

Having been in the nursing field for over 20 years, and having worked as an Assistant Nurse Manager for 4 years of that time, my passion as a leader is to build a relationship of trust and shared leadership with my team members. During my career I’ve participated in evaluating numerous patient safety issues, and I’ve had the pleasure of serving on, facilitating, and leading many projects in order to provide safe, consistent and efficient patient care. I’ve developed skills in partnering with physicians and other team members for the purpose of patient teaching and staff education, and provided frequent neuro-related in-services and validations to all nursing staff in the stroke units. I strongly believe that, in order to improve the quality and safety of patient care, a Clinical Nurse specialist (CNS) needs to collaborate and consult with interdisciplinary providers, and use evidence-based practice. While expecting my Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University in June 2013, I’m currently seeking a neuro CNS position. My accumulated years of experience -- in the neurology unit, as a “neuro” resource nurse for all inpatient units including CCU, and my current internship with the Neuro CNS at Harborview Medical Center -- have all prepared me well to meet the upcoming challenges that I will face as an advanced nurse, and to perform the responsibilities of such a position with both judgment and skill.Specialties: Patient advocacy; patient safety; quality improvement; process improvement; clinical governance; risk management; conflict management; teamwork.

Listed skills include Hospitals, Nursing, Healthcare, Inpatient, and 24 others.
