Team Lead Manager
CurrentWe deal with intervened solicitors and handle client's legal documents. I started as an administrator, this meaning I was trained fully on handling requests sent in via post or email, which come from clients, solicitors, councils and courts, this includes all queries. In order to access these documents, we would need to be able to log into our system making sure we are able to read and understand exactly what is being requested. GDPR and the data protection. Client communication skills. I was then trained to be a case worker, this role included knowing more about basic law and the types of documents we hold, what the files contain, this would include litigation files, simple wills and deceased wills, divorce and dispute files etc. This role is extremely important as a case worker will need to know what the file is and if we are able to send the file to the requester, if we have all the correct documents and information. Currently I team lead 3 departments within my office which are: administration, archiving and case workers. I interview new staff and do training for each department, making sure all staff in each department reach their daily targets and stats as well as handling basic HR for all staff as well as dealing with complaints from SRA and clients. Doing 1-2-1 performance meetings across the board and assistwith all tasks. This role includes terminating employee's and or advisingagency staff that we will be ending their booking with us.
