For over 15 years, I have been driven by my love for education, social justice, and community access work, and have been a staunch advocate of DEIB. The Change Team’s objective to provide leadership and momentum around the operational development of an antiracist framework to be integrated into the practices and culture of Year Up.•The committee’s priorities were to: o Create an organization wide Antiracist Definition achieved through a collaborative process involving multiple stakeholders; o Identify and select existing antiracist framework(s) to be adopted by Year Up; o Catalyze engagements to equip staff with the tools and resources to navigate conversations around antiracism and antiracist practices in their daily work and interactions; and o Provide an antiracist lens and insights on significant HR practice changes. -
