- Personal StatementI am an enthusiastic person with ability to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges. I have an organized approach with good communication skills, which enables me to work effectively either on my own or as a part of the team. During Ph.D candidate, I am engaged with many different kinds of projects, e.g. surveillance system, machine vision, autonomous vehicle system, medical image analysis, and biometrics. My advantages are solid theoretical foundation, practical engineering experience, and good programming skills. I am interested in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning.Research topics:(1) Generative adversarial networks (GAN)(2) Synthetic image generation in medical image analysis(3) Object detection-by-tracking in advanced driver assistance system (ADAS)(4) Action recognition in video surveillance(5) Depth estimation from a single camera
