Directed supervision of eight engineers to design system chips. My group haddesigned and finished one customer’s chip in 1998. This chip is a timing controller chip using LVDS technology for high definition LCD display of notebook. On the other hand, making a STB specification for two-way satellite communication and using DOCSIS for Cable Modem, designing this STB set for RF modules, FEC modules and verification of that chip, and coding firmware to receive/send a data from/to satellite/cable head station.

1997---1998: Developed an Auto Driving Technology with Mazda Japan.1995—1998: I developed the cable modem for Internet/CATV system. The Internet/CATV modem has a high speed data rate, the up-stream data rate, from modem to center, is 128kbps * 60ch/6MHz using QPSK digital modulation; the down-stream data rate, from center to modem, is 31.644Mbps/6MHz using 64QAM digital modulation. I was charge in design the PCB board of cable modem and coding most software on a real time OS. This cable modem is using HITACHI RISC CPU.1994—1995: I have been working in the DVD-RAM research group.1993—1994: I developed new set top box (STB) for the digital CATV system for American’s DTV. The STB can receive both of analog and digital TV signals. I was in charge of most simulations of this new model set top box (STB) for checking the specification of this new STB.1992—1993: I developed the high definition television (HDTV) mode translator for CATV system. The high definition television (HDTV) of Japan was only broadcasting system in worldwide, using MUSE-method technology.In Pioneer, I have four patents of Japan, the three of them are applied for US patents, and one of them is applied for European patent.
