I am a power electronics engineer with a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from Xi'an Jiaotong University. After completing my Ph.D., I conducted two years of postdoctoral research at the CURENT at the University of Tennessee, where I further honed my theoretical and practical skills in power electronics. During this time, I developed strong hands-on abilities and became proficient in using a range of testing tools and software, such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power analyzers, as well as Matlab and PSIM for simulations, Altium Designer for PCB design. I am skilled in embedded systems, including DSPs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers, and have extensive experience in both digital and analog circuit design. I am also familiar with the application of various power electronic devices, such as IGBT modules, MOSFETs, high-voltage SiC devices, and GaN devices. With years of practical experience, I bring in-depth expertise in the simulation, design, development, and debugging of power electronic systems. In my career, I first worked as a system engineer, developing a power electronic transformer with an H-bridge plus dual-active bridge (DAB) topology. This design involves a cascaded H-bridge connected to a 10kV three-phase grid and a DAB output connected in parallel to a 750V DC system. The H-bridge stage uses discrete IGBT devices, while the DAB stage employs discrete SiC devices. This power electronic transformer is now applicable in areas such as medium-voltage direct grid-connected PV, data center power supplies, and energy routers. Later, as a technical manager, I led a team in developing a centralized power conversion system for energy storage with power ratings from 1.25MW to 1.75MW for 1500V battery systems, with a 690V AC output connected to a 35kV grid through a low-frequency step-up transformer. Our latest work includes advancements in DPWM modulation, grid-forming algorithms, and liquid cooling system design. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and traveling, which allow me to maintain a balanced life and continually explore the world.
