During the OAI CO Audit, key responsibilities included providing secretarial and coordination support, organizing interview timelines, and setting up meeting agendas. Document compliance reviews were conducted to ensure alignment with PPM and POPP, along with maintaining an updated tracker for overall management controls. Additionally, support was provided in developing and implementing office-wide initiatives in response to audit findings, focusing on enhancing results-based management practices and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation framework at the program level.For the ICPE, coordination efforts involved managing the pre-mission questionnaire, setting evaluation timelines, and organizing field mission itineraries and workshops in close collaboration with UNDP colleagues and external partners. Comprehensive reference materials, such as country background, stakeholder maps, and national development strategies, were prepared and compiled to support the evaluation process. Throughout, key informant interviews (KII), focus group discussions (FGD), and workshops were coordinated and facilitated, while documentation and knowledge management were handled to ensure all necessary information and materials were provided.

In Programme Management, responsibilities included analyzing office-wide key programme dimensions to support the CO Management Team's decision-making processes. This involved assessing the performance of management practices and preparing Monthly Management Reports and targeted Management Briefs for senior management. Additionally, quality assurance reviews of project documents and work plans were conducted to ensure full compliance with UNDP’s programme and project management guidelines. Internal Management Briefs were developed to capture key lessons and identify areas for improvement.In Programme Risk Management, efforts contributed to the development of an office-wide risk management approach and the creation of the CO’s 2023 action plans, which included developing relevant knowledge products. Quality assurance reviews of project evaluation terms of reference (ToR) were conducted to ensure final evaluation reports met corporate compliance requirements. Programme Management activities focused on ensuring comprehensive documentation compliance across all programme portfolios for the CPD cycle, making them easily accessible on the CO’s shared drive. Additional responsibilities involved coordinating workshops and training activities to strengthen programme and risk management, as well as providing secretarial support for internal and external meetings, including strategic meetings with government counterparts like CICETE.

In Monitoring and Evaluation, responsibilities included tracking overall project implementation, focusing on progress, delivery, outcomes, outputs, and indicators. Quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed to assess the performance of each portfolio, with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports prepared on UNDP China’s project progress. Close collaboration with UNDP headquarters and regional offices ensured that all periodic reviews and results-based management (RBM) tasks were completed effectively, in coordination with various teams and portfolios.For Strategic Planning and Coordination, duties involved reviewing and providing quality assurance for project documents, work plans, MOUs, and financing agreements, ensuring alignment with the Strategic Plan and UNDP policies. Office-wide annual targets, work plans, and reports were coordinated and compiled in consultation with the management team and thematic teams. Close cooperation with external implementing partners and project management offices (PMOs) ensured timely and transparent delivery of project outputs.In Knowledge Sharing and Support, document management throughout the project implementation process was handled to ensure consistency. Internal knowledge-sharing activities and external training sessions for partners and PMOs were organized. Additionally, secretarial and coordination support was provided for internal meetings, external meetings with government counterparts, and other M&E-related activities. Ad-hoc duties were performed as required to support overall project execution.

Contributions were made to the development of the global IRFF Monitoring PowerApp, which supports over 30 projects across 20+ countries. Efforts were instrumental in streamlining reporting processes through the implementation of automated report generation based on data entries. This advancement optimized efficiency and accuracy in project reporting.These improvements were informed by extensive experience in Results-Based Management (RBM) and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), which were applied to enhance the design and functionality of global programme monitoring systems, ensuring more effective oversight and management of projects worldwide.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, contributions were made to UNDP's efforts in developing knowledge products, communication outputs, and data gathering initiatives to support global vaccine equity and green vaccine delivery. These efforts played a key role in advancing UNDP's digital health initiatives during a critical period, ensuring a more effective global response.Focusing on SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being), country-specific desk research was conducted on Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs), road safety, tobacco control, and planetary health projects. This research supported the preparation of talking points and briefing notes for the Minamata Convention and contributed to COP 26 sub-events in collaboration with WHO. Additionally, research and publication efforts resulted in the article COVID-19 as a Long Multi-Wave Event: Implications for Responses to Safeguard Younger Generations, emphasizing the need for a revised approach to protect children and young people.
