After volunteering at Modern Health TCM earlier on in 2022, I was given a chance to undertake a casual contract working as a receptionist by the store manager in December of that year, as I'm looking for a summer job. I've worked as a receptionist helping to arrange patient consultations in-person and over the phone, and answered enquiries from prospective patients on social media like Wechat and Facebook, and emails. I've also helped to pass on medical instructions from our herbalists and acupuncturists to the customer, following up with customers from time to time to make sure they are having an effective recovery. Apart from those, I've administrated new patients into our systems and sent patients invoices on their request using our CRM system.I've often worked in a team of 2-3 in the front house, often cooperating with other team members during peak hours to ensure all patients are treated in a timely manner.

Working as a part-time shop assistant, I spend most of my time in the showroom as a sales, helping to ensure the sales target is reached. We work as a team to overcome any difficulties throughout the day, for example, when the counter is overloaded I'll be flowing to the counter and helping customers check out/collect their orders.When the showroom is not so busy, I'll focus on pricing the product around the shop, making sure prices are up to date, and also a bit of merchandising to fill up empty shelves, making sure the showroom looks clean and tidy.I also help around the shop to pick and pack online web orders, ensuring our 1-hour click-and-collect policy is met.
