I'm a user research leader with over a decade of experience conducting research, growing/managing teams at Airbnb and Opendoor, and advising early start-ups looking for product-market fit.I love research because it lets me step into the shoes of lives so different from my own. I am passionate about using data to empower teams to make better user-centered decisions; doing generative work to identify deep insights and business opportunities; and helping teams navigate ambiguity in 0-1 spaces. I care deeply about the growth and development of my team and do a lot of coaching with non-researchers as part of building a DIY research program at my current company.My strengths are: facilitation (brainstorms, vision sprints, cross-org alignment), making insights sticky and actionable, collaboration, communication, and storytelling.My personal values are: integrity, authenticity, curiosity, social impact, and humor.
