Mingyi is a self-taught digital media consultant with over a decade experience in this field. She started out developing training courseware in both English and Chinese and has trained more than 200 teachers from various schools on how to incorporate multimedia within teaching materials. Mingyi has moved on to become a strategic project manager for Forest Concept and has completed more than 30 major site builds and campaigns single-handedly. She has dabbled in both regional and local accounts, ranging from insurance (AXA) to government (National University Hospital, Ministry of Transport, Land Transport Authority of Singapore), to properties including Far East Organization.In XM Asia, Mingyi's project management scope includes front-end and back-end web platform development, integration planning, site architecture design down to creative execution and analytics reporting. She is also adept in the soft skill sets in clients’ servicing, project budget management, 3rd parties negotiation and management. Mingyi is the lead project manager on MasterCard APMEA, Gardens by the Bay, Exxon Mobil, Diageo Johnnie Walker, and Royal Caribbean Asia Pacific with the assistance of a project team of 5 reporting directly to her for MasterCard account.In 2012, Mingy set up Webscape Consulting to offer her expertise in user experience and digital project roll-out and executions. Since then, she has partnered with various agencies and assisted client such as DBS Bank to roll out various digital initiatives within the organisations. Interestingly, Mingyi is well-known to her friends as the pioneer webmaster who set up a Faye Wong website which she had built more than 10 years ago to immortalize her idol then. Since then, the passion has coincidentally fuelled her interest in all things digital.
