I am an East Tennessee native, public health professional, circus artist, and printmaker. As a program evaluator with training in public health, demography, and econometrics, I coordinate with policymakers and community members to identify the information that they need to design and implement evidence-based programs. In addition to rigorous translational research, I prioritize effective science communication and data visualization designed for non-academic audiences. After the 2016 wildfires in Gatlinburg, I am especially interested in the intersection of housing, climate change, and health in Appalachia.
