Buckeye Relief is a vertically integrated medical marijuana company with a co-located Level 1 cultivation and processing facility in Eastlake, dispensaries in Cleveland Heights, Columbus and Bedford. Buckeye Relief has the largest market share of any Ohio operator based on products solid in dispensaries. - Primary company representative in all communications with the Board of Pharmacy and the Department of Commerce. - Authored variance requests for dispensary facility changes and worked through discussions with the Board of Pharmacy representatives. - Co-Chair of the Ohio Medical Cannabis Industry Association’s (OMCIA) Legislative Committee- Lead author on OMCIA papers submitted to the Department of Commerce and the Board of Pharmacy. Topics included: comments on draft rule changes, new packaging increments, laboratory testing rules, alternative badging process, marketing/advertising rules, adverse events from Tier 2 flower, and new pesticide approvals.- Lead a team of industry representatives in authoring four petitions to add new medical conditions to the program. Two of our petitions (spasticity and terminal illness) we added by the State Medical Board in June. - Lead a team of five co-workers in a complete rebranding initiative. Buckeye’s new brand hit dispensary shelves only four months after the project started. - Acted as company spokesperson with statewide media outlets. - Responsible for leading the company’s RFA 2 dispensary application process (in progress).
