Shane dedicated most of his time to design and develop Point of Sale (POS) terminal applications using C-like proprietary terminal API. His achievements included GUI for CEPAS card transaction, CEPAS card integration to the existing Ez-link card application, Sony FeliCa DLL project, ACR smart card readers evaluation, VeriFone ECR demo, etc.Shane was also assigned to application development project based on other devices such as Secura PIN pad using proprietary API.In addition, Shane designed and developed an application namely PSAM terminal manager running on desktop computer in C++ for internal team use, which dramatically increased efficiency and accuracy of specific terminal file generation/modification.Liaising with vendor, partner and customer, Shane ensured that the standards were met and effective communication was established.

Xrgomics is a tech startup specializing in developing mobile device based applications.Following different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, test, implementation, support and enhancement to meet new requirements, Shane successfully delivered 2 mobile software applications running in Window Mobile platform based PDA for 2 healthcare organizations respectively, i.e. Electronic Patient Medical Record (EPMR) System for Hospice Care Association (HCA), and Medical Patient Data System (MPDS) for Home Nursing Foundation (HNF). He also delivered effective trainings for both Windows Mobile and above stated software applications to end users.Shane managed to pursue domain knowledge and new concepts for building software applications in Window Mobile platform using C++and C# with SQL Server Mobile edition.

Shane’s main responsibility was to continue CD-ROM production for existing customer RS Components (China) Version 6, including data extraction from database to CD-ROM, CD-ROM application/GUI modification, rebuilding application, functional tests, compatibility tests on Microsoft Windows family OS, and writing up release documents.Due to business expansion, Shane took up the challenge to design and develop CD-ROM prototype application/GUI using VB and SQL for new customer Clipsal (Malaysia). Shane also led the meetings with customer to collect requirements and define technical specifications.
