1) Brooks General Trading Co LLC – Dubai, UAE : Logistics Coordinator (March 2010 up to Present)Export & Import• Coordination and processing of all the documents for consignments, which have arrived for import or export.• Coordinate with International & Local Forwarders, Custom Authorities, Manufactures, Suppliers, Logistics Companies, Warehouse person, Transporters and Clients.• Prepare Packing List and Delivery Advise and make sure COO & ED are arranged on time for export shipments.• Coordinate with messenger and arrange for DO collection from Shipping Line for clearance shipments. • Tracking Shipment status and update clients about ETA & ETD.• Prepare and update monthly logistics schedule and to assure timely pick-up & delivery of finished goods as soon as production is completed.• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for all import & export shipments.• Follow-up with drivers to get signed and stamped of DA & DN once material is delivered.• Coordinating with the different departments to ensure prompt service to the clients.• Coordinate for timely and proper stuffing at Origin and solve issues of quality, paperwork, supplier issues etc. Ensure smooth and timely pickup and zero demurrage.• Handle Import & Export documentations (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO etc.)Process and submit import L/C application to the bank, review export L/C and request amendments if any. • Coordinate with suppliers and/or their agent for documentation & shipping requirement and Check shipment status and inform sales / customer of the status timely.• Coordinate with Custom finance department for Refund deposit of duty. • Making Port documents and Coordinate with Transporter for removal of container from port and return in time.Coordinate with transporter to place vehicle for movement from port and return of empty container.• IF there is container damage then coordinate for damage payments, Accidents, Container loss etc.• Knowledge of Filing the BOE in Dubai Trade• Coordinating with the Warehouse team tracking the materials• Preparing shipment wise report &storage report on daily basis to ensure orders & schedules are completed.• Preparing Weekly Inbound report and Ready shipment report to the Customer.• Develop packaging prototypes with our suppliers for Municipality Purpose • Making food item registration and closing FIRS case from Municipality for particular shipments • Keeping track of all shipments for export or import.• Covering all import activities, right from Order placed, till payment to Supplier after the arrival of container.
